Aenguezae has both an unbreathable thin atmosphere and a lack of surface water, making habitation by sophonts difficult. The system has a population between 10,000 and 10 million, lacking the industrial base to be completely self-supporting. The governance of this world is from Khezoeridosai (Knoellighz 1212). It is a Vargr dominated Non-Aligned world in the Engakhs Subsector of Knoellighz Sector.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

Aenguezae is an Owned Colony of Khezoeridosai (Knoellighz 1212) and was mainly colonized for its slightly higher Tech Level Downport, capable of servicing the ships that have arrived from Tetsoung and are in need of repairs or refueling. A desert world and marginalized as a poor attempt at colonization, Aenguezae at least has three Gas Giants and a single planetoid belt to offer for fuel skimming and use by belter communities. With a Tech Level of 8, this world is better capable of refining its mineral resources just outside the Startown. Many belters drop off their finds here and return to space. Though incapable of building new spaceships or starships, Aenguezae does see a ship or two annually mothballed and sold here for reuse prospecting in-system, after its jump drive is gutted for fuel and cargo space.

The very low surface gravity (0.05) and a thin and tainted atmosphere require the same underground cavern realm Downport design as Tetsoung, in a lack of originality in acclimating from Khezoeridosai's gravity of 1.25. Rigorous exercise programs and dietary supplements are necessary in the absence of gravity-modifying systems. Many colonists are Khezoeridosai government employees and screened volunteers for this world's environment, picked for their stamina. The two million strong population strives to maintain this waystation Downport and its refineries.

World Starport[edit]

Aenguezae has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
