• It is a member of the Zhodani Consulate in the Province of Iadr Nsobl, in the Iavdeiev Subsector of Ziafrplians Sector.

• The world serves as the subsector capital with the significant extra trade and prestige associated with that role.
• This is a "high technology" world with technology achievements at, near, or above the standard for Charted Space.

World Starport

Achiatlie has a Class A Starport, an excellent quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and other kinds of repair, and construction of both starships and non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.

Three broad categories of crime are recognized by the Zhodani Consulate: inadvertent, incited, and insane. The concept of premeditated crime for personal gain fits under the insane heading.

• Inadvertent crime is an unintentional violation or infraction of the law, resulting from inattention. For minor cases the usual punishment is a small fine.
• Incited crime is an infraction of a law brought about by another, often resulting from an overreaction to inadvertent crime or misfortune. The solution is re-education.
• Insane crime is a general heading for most major crimes against property or individuals.
