70th Fleet (AArna)
The 70th Fleet (AArna) is the Numbered Imperial fleet serving the Third Imperium stationed in the AArna Subsector of the Fornast Sector.

Description (Specifications)[edit]
The governments in AArna maintain one Scout base and one Naval base at Argii (Fornast 0813).
Mission[edit]
Aside from internal security this fleet is often called upon as a strategic reserve to support fleets operating closer to contested border regions. A red zone naval blockade to enforce imperial interdiction on Berthegad (world) is maintained using a fleet security detachment.
Strategy & Doctrine (Operations)[edit]
Because of the small number of squadrons assigned to the fleet, the squadrons tend to be larger than normal. Smaller taskforces are frequently detached to operate alone for extended periods of time.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Famed for their reliability and dependability, they have never failed to answer their emperor's call, nor defend the iridium throne. For many years the planet of Kidulaar (world) has been used to provide massive troop strength for imperial ground forces.
