The 6982nd Imperial Marine Regiment was a Regiment sized unit of the Third Imperium and was part of the Imperial Marines.

The 6982nd Imperial Marine Regiment was under 204th Fleet in the Tobia Subsector
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
The unit was heavily engaged with the Aslan Ihatei invasions to the extent that it was broken up for raiding purposed and assigned to individual vessels by the Company or Battalion. Ultimately this effectively destroyed the Regiment as a unit. It's successor unit in 204th Fleet was the 20th Regency Marine Line Regiment, and this new unit included a number of the Companies and Marines from the 6982nd.
