Starships are designed with the Classic Traveller format, using High Guard Shipyard v1.13 written by Andrea Vallance. |
The Antrim class Heavy Frigates ("cruiser" in imperial parlance) are the newest Heavy Frigate class in the Caledonian Navy.
Description (Specifications)
In 1109, the Navy put out a specification for a follow-on class to the excellent Sunderland class Heavy Frigate, with added armor and accommodation space. They are slightly longer than the otherwise very similar Sunderlands.
History & Background (Dossier)
Eighty-eight are currently in service, 24 are building, and as many as 50 more may be built by the time the class runs its course.
