I've been noticing a small bug which seems to be related to the rendering of apostrophes when they appear in the names of certain articles. The best way for me to explain is to show you any particular world in the Trin's Veil Subsector and look at their first few paragraphs which are supposed to be created by the expansion of a "StellarDataQuery" format. Here are a few:

Trin (SM 3235) (world)

Katarulu (world)

Hammermium (world)

In each of those articles you will notice the name of Trin's Veil Subsector has been garbled by some confusion in the underlying code which renders the apostrophe, substituting a Hexadecimal Character Encoding Value of some sort (apparently related to the HTML values of the typeface character codes) instead of the proper punctuation mark.

I'm afraid that despite my efforts to understand the Template:StellarDataQuery page, i simply do not see how to fix this sort of bug. I'm hoping that by mentioning it here, some clever editor will know how to adjust the underlying code so that it won't be displaying this weird little flaw. Thanks for any help!

Yes, this is a problem that goes through about 9 layers, including the database twice. The code "'" is an HTML encoding for an apostrophe ('). Based upon a digging through the query process, it shows up early from the original query, then gets overwritten in a second query/template process. There are some attempts to correct these issues for the query processing, but this may have changed in the upgrades. I'm digging more as we go. Tjoneslo (talk) 23:16, 7 June 2024 (UTC)
