The Main offers access to the Serpent Trace via Aubusson (Vanguard Reaches 1823) and Velva (Vanguard Reaches 1623).

The worlds of the Diadem Main are wary of the Hyperion League and its potential ability to control trade to coreward. They fear a Hyperion take-over of Ibadam or Finzi's Niche.
