Fieedr is a poor, industrial, high-population hellworld, with a billion or more sophonts who struggle to survive in an inhospitable environment.
- Hellworlds often offer daily, and sometimes even hourly, life-threatening situations to their inhabitants.
- As an industrial world, this planet has well-developed manufacturing and processing industries. Manufactured goods are a major export item.
- It is a world interdicted by the controlling Zhodani Consulate, located in the Ienji Subsector of Far Frontiers Sector.

When the civilization aboard the Sky Raiders' worldship fractured around -4200, they settled some of their people here. They intermixed with local remnants of the Vlazhdumecta, whose trade empire had been dismantled by the Zhodani.
The society eventually re-developed jump drive from old records and wrecked examples. They began raiding nearby systems, and in -3915 this caught the attention of the Zhodani.

The local language is a variant of Vlazhdumecta with influence from Loes.
