System Data
Vurgen System
The primary is an unnamed dim red subdwarf star. It has a luminosity of 0.00054 Sols, a mass of 0.07 Sols, and a diameter of 91,500 km. (I) an exotic atmosphere bigworld, (II) Zarog, a small gas giant: (IIa) Vurgen is its only major moon and is designated the mainworld, (III) a small ice giant, (IV) a small gas giant, (VI-I) large gas giant, and (VI-II) a ringed large gas giant form the outer system – orbital position (V) is empty. All of the worlds retain satellites.
(II) Zarog
(II) Zarog is a small gas giant that orbits the primary at a mean distance of 0.41 AU (61.3 million km), within the outer system, and has an orbital period of 362 days 10 hours. It has a diameter of 38,400 km and is a banded deep blue colour. It retains a single major satellite, (IIa) Vurgen, which is designated the mainworld.

(IIa) Vurgen
(IIa) Vurgen is the only major moon of (II) Zarog and is designated the mainworld. It orbits its parent world at a mean distance of 14 diameters (1.34 million km), with an orbital period of 41 days 21 hours: it is tidally locked to Zarog. The axial tilt is 0 degrees relative to Zarog. Vurgen has a diameter of 2,997 km, a density of 3.44 g/cm³ and a surface gravity of 0.15 G. Tidal stresses generated by the gravitational pull of Zarog cause occasional geological activity. The atmosphere is rated as Vacuum. The world has no hydrosphere. Mean surface temperature: -145°C.
