The Antrim class Heavy Frigates ("cruiser" in imperial parlance) are the newest Heavy Frigate class in the Caledonian Navy. 88 are currently in service, 24 are building, and as many as 50 more may be built by the time the class runs its course.
History
In 1109, the Navy put out a specification for a follow-on class to the excellent Sunderland class Heavy Frigate, with added armor and accommodation space. They are slightly longer than the otherwise very similar Sunderlands.
