Abbot Spur

A narrow spur of stars in Nabile Subsector of Bourne Sector.

Description / Specifications

It is named for the Abbot system (1337 Bourne), the furthest spinward-coreward point within the Distant Fringe that it is possible to reach using conventional vessels.

A narrow corridor of stars crossing the spinward-coreward edge of Course Sector. It connects Xelan Subsector in Far Home Sector to Nabile Subsector, subsector N of Bourne Sector. It is named for the primary of the Ragol system (0702 Course).

History & Background / Dossier

The Nabile system (1634 Bourne) is the point where the Last Armada entered the Distant Fringe proper in 2254AD.

The Department of Early History of the University of Tal Varisa funded the construction of the Nabile Deep Space Fuel Cache, located in hex (1535 Bourne).
