• It is not designated in the UWP, but it was semi-regulated by the time of the T5SS using trade codes.

Infernal	70+	If (infernal)	Conventional Life (thermomorph)	Habitation is near impossible without technology. 100 degrees C = boiling point of water. Typical of hellworlds, insidious worlds, many radworlds, and worlds with too many greenhouse gases. Venus (SR 1827) (world) is typically thought of as an exemplar world for this category.
Variable	Extreme: Variable	Lk (locked: satellite or moon) Tz (twilight zone: mainworld)	Unconventional Life or Exotic Life (extremophile)	Habitation is almost always impossible without extensive technology. Often reserved for worlds that have large variations in temperature due to eccentric orbits or significant axial tilts.
