Scybrian Wars
A series of conflicts that engulfed the coreward half of the Distant Fringe between 5244AD and 5489AD, largely fought between the Scybrian Polyarchy, the Firstworlds, and the Corolian Jurisdicture. The conflicts ultimately led to the collapse of the Polyarchy, the ratification of the Rissa Accords, and the establishment of the High Senate. The wars are divided into three distinct phases:
Early War
Major events included the Corolian Border Wars (5244AD–5266AD), the Haden Insurgency, (5249AD–5292AD), the Short Peace (5266AD–5282AD), the Nist War (5282AD–5290AD), and the Long Peace (5290AD–5323AD). The early war period saw many small-scale engagements, primarily between the Scybrian Polyarchy and the Corolian Jurisdicture.
Mid-War
Major events included the Hidden War (5314AD–5335AD), the Rimward Campaigns (5321AD–5335AD), the First Rissa War (5323AD–5335AD), the False Peace (5335AD–5342AD), The Invasion (5342AD–5349AD), the Salatho Uprising (5345AD–5354AD), and the Rissa Armistice 5349AD–5360AD. The mid-war period saw broad campaigns and attritional fighting that involved the Firstworlds, the Scybrian Polyarchy, and the Corolian Jurisdicture.
Late War
Major events included the Second Rissa War (5360AD–5365AD), the Forced Peace (5365AD–5373AD), the War of Corolian Liberation (5373AD–5387AD), The Grand Campaign (5376AD–5388AD), and the Siege of Scybria (5388AD–1589AD). The late war period saw intense fighting and the ultimate defeat of the Scybrian Polyarchy. The Scybrian wars ended with the signing of the Rissa Accords (5389AD).
