A squadrons of these ships issue forth from the TL–3, Nordica shipyards. Designed to attack, they sacrifice defense for aggressive tactics. They eschew armor, in favor of larger troop carrying capacity, more of a military transport than ship of the line. The Fjords rely on this design to move assault forces into position quickly. These streamlined cone structured hulls are fitted with fuel scoops and fuel purification for ocean giant refueling. They have jump 4 and 4 Gs of acceleration and 4 agility. They carry 900 marines, with a pair of ship's boats. To cope with the inevitable battle damage, they carry a frozen watch, and an extra Model 7fib computer, nuclear dampers, and meson screens.
The weapons load includes:
- Spinal mounted factor P meson gun
- 90 triple sand caster turrets
- 9 100 ton repulsor bays
- 90 triple beam laser turrets
- 90 dual fusion gun turrets
- 9 100 ton particle accelerator bays
- 370 triple missile turrets
