Lazisar/Gimushi (Empty Quarter 1233 B55099D-B) Lazisar IV was the mainworld of this system until 965 when a rogue planetoid entered the system. Although known about well in advance, there was nothing the local authorities could do to avert the disaster. It was decided that an evacuation was needed and a massive effort was engaged to move everyone to Lazisar III. Until then, Lazisar III was only sparcely populated with a few miners who made a decent living bringing soft metals from the dry, dusty stone.

The Imperial Navy, feeling somewhat dismayed at its inability to stop the planetoid has done all it can to assist the people on Lazisar III and has constructed a naval base almost solely to look after their needs, however the area around the south pole port is a shanty town where exploitation and crime are rife.
