Physical sophontology

'Isen' are small (0.7m average height, 25 kg averge weight) frog like creatures, bipedal with webbed hands and feet. They can live both in the water permanently and on land for long periods. When in water their bodies absorb it through pores in their skin, and when on land the oxygen in this absorbed water is extracted through millions of gill-like organs scattered throughout their bodies. Because of this, an Isen body always looks damp. They have fangs and are venomous. Their primary diet is fish and other meat. They live extremely long lives of around 500 years.

This species originated on Isenold and developed intelligence. They are little changed physically from their ancestors.
