K'Kree Outpost (Polity) Government & Politics (Leadership)
The K'kree Outpost is organized much like the Two Thousand Worlds, and considers itself part of that polity. Several senior and very powerful Steppelords oversee groups of systems and rule with effectively no opposition except each other, though they and all of their citizens acknowledge the Steppelord of the Two Thousand Worlds as their ultimate ruler. Each senior Steppelord is the patriarch of a vast extended family spread across multiple systems. All of them also oversees the operations within their territories of the Outpost Navy, a parallel organization to the Navy of the Two Thousand Worlds that occasionally exchanges personnel and ships to ensure that the Outpost does not become culturally or politically isolated. The view of the Outpost by the Two Thousand Worlds is that it is another Client State, albeit an important one. The role of the Outpost is understood to be a filter to keep the Vargr or Humaniti of that region from employing the trans-Rift route to enter K'kree Space. The divergence of views regarding the status of the Outpost is not widely recognized outside the elements of the Navy who conduct the preiodic exchanges.
The Outpost also treats, begrudgingly, with other polities and worlds nearby. The mixture of Human and Vargr controlled systems around the Outpost makes the diplomatic work of the senior patriarchs challenging, though a traditional practice of squashing attempts by those worlds to unify in any way has kept the Outpost relatively safe. The Outpost is one of the few branches of the K'kree in the modern era that understands the concept of war as practiced by others, and the appearance of a K'kree fleet over the neighboring worlds is a dreaded omen of destruction with a long, terrible history. At the same time, trade and actual diplomatic dialog is also conducted with many of the neighboring systems. The preferred method of interaction varies with the individual patriarchs, giving an air of unpredictability to relations with the Outpost K'kree.

K'Kree Outpost (Polity) Technology & Trade (Economy)
The K'Kree Outpost has jurisdiction over 87 worlds with an estimated population of 36 billion, a per capita income of Cr11,096, and a total economy is BCr407,906. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr2,067 through 71 starports (6 Class A, 11 Class B, 44 Class C, 10 Class D) employing 302,160 people. Driving this interstellar trade are 19 Agricultural (Ag) worlds, ten Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, no Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, no Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, two Rich (Ri) worlds, and six Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in K'Kree Outpost maintain 54 Naval bases, and 15 Naval outposts. The average technology level is 12 (with most between 9 and 15). The highest technology level is 15 at Nuumir (Gn'hk'r 0203), !!gr'iikang (Gn'hk'r 0204), Aruughop (Gn'hk'r 0210), Gniku (Gn'hk'r 0309), Akukrureb (Gn'hk'r 0510), and Kua (Gn'hk'r 0802).

K'Kree Outpost (Polity) Military & Intelligence (Force Projection)
The Outpost maintains a Navy much as the Two Thousand Worlds do, berthed at a liberal community of naval bases located in many of the occupied systems of the Outpost. With no recognized native sophonts in the Outpost's territory, the Navy is primarily occupied with training, cultural homogeneity, and occasionally stamping out or terrorizing neighboring worlds. Unlike the Navy during the Crusade era or the ships of the aggressively expansionist Lords of Thunder, the Outpost Navy is not engaged in acquiring new territory, and is not particularly concerned about internal security like the modern Navy of the Two Thousand Worlds. Instead, protection of the bastion of the Outpost borders and aggressive traffic control in the chains of worlds that lead to the trans-Rift route are the primary concerns of the Outpost Navy.

K'Kree Outpost (Polity) Worlds & Sectors (Astrography)
The K'Kree Outpost has an estimated population of 36 billion distributed across 87 systems, including six High population (Hi) worlds, no Moderate population (Ph) worlds, 62 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, 29 Low population (Lo) worlds, and four Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population worlds are !!gr'iikang (Gn'hk'r 0204), Iktuat (Gn'hk'r 0613), G'xroonguuk (Gn'hk'r 1210), Gaaiireen!k (Gn'hk'r 1822), Aruughop (Gn'hk'r 0210), and Teetaarr'ng (Gn'hk'r 1809). The population consists primarily of K'kree, with a small population of Girug'kagh and a scattered few Ciruwar and acclimated Humaniti and Vargr.
