A Player Character or PC is the focus of the RPG game. It is the character that the player controls throughout the adventure or story.

  • The Referee directs the game and helps to moderate interaction with NPCs.

Description (Specifications)

PCs can be extremely short lived in Traveller, with the possibility of being lost during CharGen.

History & Background (Dossier)

A Character or Player Character (PC) is the central imaginary adventurer that an RPG game player assumes when playing a game like Traveller. The concept of the PC is now so ubiquitous through RPG gaming that few books bother to explain the concept anymore.
