Built for the Darrian Navy this TL–14 design has a partially streamlined cylindrical structure capable of wilderness refueling operations from gas giants. Extensive berthing for troops are not provided, only a token pair of security specialists are provided in case boarding and searching vessels is required. The tiny cargo hold means that lengthy cruises are impractical and fleet logistical support is expected. The hull is armored to resist critical hits and there is a single battery of sand casters to provide defense. The main offensive punch is delivered by the missile bay and the beam lasers and fusion guns provide point defense versus fighters and missiles. These functions are particularly important during convoy and escort duty. The lack of dedicated surface interface vehicles is a limitation.
