An autonomous area of Halcyon Sector during the Second Confederation. Although the Confederation strictly controlled activity beyond its borders, it granted special license to a state-controlled exploratory venture that sought to find exploitable resources, particularly rare minerals. The Corporation remained loyal to the Traditionalist cause during the civil wars but its position became increasingly untenable and eventually it collapsed. A number of its core systems formed the short-lived Cooperative.
