The Golden Ring is a collection of academic institutions on Vincennes (Deneb 1122).

Description (Specifications)

The Golden Ring includes five institutions. Two of these, Golden Gate School and Golden Horn School, are placed in orbit near Vincennes two highports, and are given over mostly to off-world students. The other three Schools (Golden Harvest; Golden Sun; and Golden Dragon) are all built near the world's three major metroplexes.

After the Rape of Trin (1139), Vincennes (Deneb 1122) constructed five of the largest and most prestigious universities in Deneb: the "Golden Ring" schools. These attract the best and brightest from across the Regency to learn cutting edge science and technology, economics and public service, psionics and interstellar relations.
