5460AD–5465AD. Part of the Late War period of the Scybrian Wars. A bloody conflict between the Scybrian Polyarchy and the Firstworlds.

The war was marked by Firstworlds mismanagement and military incompetence.
History[edit]
5463AD Third Jump Hub Raid.
The war opened with a Firstworlds attack into the Rissa Gateway region. Poor reconnaissance and intelligence led to disastrous losses and ultimately the loss of territory. Scybrian forces were able to sweep aside opposition and in a series of well coordinated strikes occupied much of the Far Home side of the Rissa Gateway. A Firstworlds withdrawal became a rout. Scybrian forces launched raids on Tal Varisa.
Scybria, with vast numbers of troops committed to the Occupation, decides to withdraw to defensible Rissa. It institutes a “scorched earth” policy, destroying defenses, facilities and infrastructure as it pulls back. The Firstworlds reoccupies the worlds but the war turns into little more than naval skirmishing, bombing, and occasional surface raids.
