This creature is an amphibious type, spending most of its time near or in water. It prefers seaweed and other underwater plants as a food source. It has a wide, four-legged body, a flat, ratehr 'boomeraing, looking head, and a long snakey tail. Its front feet are webbed, with four toes each, but the back feed have fins.

The Springal, which on land, will fling tese at prey with surprinces speed and accuracy, penetrating its target with the acids. The creature dies, and the springal  sucks out the creature's digested innards. Each blister, when competely forms, weighs about 0.25kg.
