Khusai is an agricultural, nonindustrial world still lacking adequate means to expand its economy.
- As an agricultural world, this world is a near-ideal environment for producing quality foodstuffs of plant, animal, and other forms. Quality foodstuffs are a major export commodity for this world.
- It requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society. Having to import most manufactured and high tech goods drives the price up for these items at this world.
- This world is part of the Aslan Hierate, as a single multiple-world clan dominate, in the Tlaiowaha Subsector of Trojan Reach Sector.
- This world has an Aslan Clan Base, which may combine the features of an army base for ground forces, a scout base, or even a naval base for starships.
Description (Planetology)
Khusai is a pleasant world of blue fields and purple forests.
Stellar Data
Native Lifeforms
Khusai is home to an attractive purple linden tree, the wood of which was once valued for furniture-making as far as Pourne. This wood is now used primarily for live animal crates going to the Aslan Hierate.
History & Background (Dossier)
Formerly known as Banks, Khusai was a member of the Kingdom of Drinax, until captured by the Aslan Hierate in a war that shattered the Kingdom.
The system is now home to the naval base of the belligerent Hrakoea clan.
Aslan legend claims that giant rock monsters dwell in underground caverns on this planet, but others say that these rumours were started deliberately to conceal weapons testing. The orbiting base is a major Aslan fortification and is commonly used by pirate hunters.
World Starport
Khusai has a Class A Starport, an excellent quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and other kinds of repair, and construction of both starships and non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
World Population (P)
Khusai has a population of 7,000,000 sophonts (millions).
- This is a Nonindustrial World, too small to support the complete chain of production of most goods from start to finish.
World Languages
- Trokh: The universal language of the modern Aslan monoculture.
- Aslan Languages: Note that some Aslan clans retain obscure or archaic languages for personal use in addition to Trokh.
World Economy
Trade Data
As well as purple linden wood, Khusai Saow, or 'Khusan Spam' (Special Processed Aslan Meat), is a staple on this world, and ubiquitous on the Drinax Chain. Aslan find it revolting, fit only for Human consumption.
