Clan Home has a breathable, habitable atmosphere and a reasonable amount of surface water. The system supports a population in the hundreds of thousands of sophonts, lacking the industrial base to be completely self-supporting. This world is designated an Amber Zone with an environment, laws, customs, life forms, or other conditions that make it dangerous to visitors. This is a low technology world with technology competency below the standard for Charted Space. It is a member of Third Imperium in the Pact Subsector of Dagudashaag Sector and in the Domain of Vland. Clan Home, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estates of an Imperial knight and a baronet. Both are members of the Imperial Nobility charged with overseeing the world. 100% of the world's population is the Major Race Aslan. During the Long Night this world was named Kepishish.
Astrography and planetology[edit]
Clan Home is a member of the Dagudashaag Main.
History and background[edit]
Settled about -1060 by Aslan migrants from Gushemege Sector. The colony was too small to form a viable technological base and Clan Home regressed to preindustrial levels during the latter part of the Long Night. Aslan cultural prejudice turned to xenophobia and the world voluntarily isolated itself from the interstellar community in the first years of the Third Imperium.
As of 1100, however, Clan Home has begun a tentative reemergence and is slowly Industrializing, with all its associated problems. Travellers to the planet should be aware that IISS technology import restrictions are in force, to shield the natives from 'culture shock'.
World Starport (St)[edit]
Clan Home has a Class D Starport, a poor quality installation which has few of the expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.
Urbanization[edit]
Aslan architecture tends to the organic and the rounded. They favour artistry over efficiency in the design of their buildings -- every Aslan structure is different. Even in mass-produced housing, residents will strive to make their territory uniquely theirs.
- Since Aslan descend from predators and enjoy open terrain, their buildings often feature both open rooms of great size and a number of concealed rooms, balconies, hidden passageways and hideaways.
