Easakhou is a rich world.
- As a rich world, this planet has high-grade living conditions and is highly sought after by immigrating sophonts.
- This world has a prosperous and thriving world economy.
- Some of the sources of this world's wealth are well known, but others remain a mystery. Many speculate on these mysterious sources of wealth. Some even investigate them... to no avail yet.
- This world is part of the Aslan Hierate, as a vassal clan dominate, in the Delta Cephei Subsector of Beyond Sector.
- This world was previously named Araniopa by its human inhabitants. Humans still make up part of the population, though they are less than 10% of the total.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)
Mainworld Geography and Topography
A broad equatorial landmass is covered by jungle and desert, while the north and south are mostly ocean.
Native Lifeforms
Native life is advanced and widespread. Animal life includes large herbivores that fight off a number of swift predators. The Syoisuis regularly engage in hunts.
History & Background (Dossier)
The Storm Knights' Twelfth Expedition began in 415 with a push to take Easakhou (the former Araniopa) and Kaiear from the Aslan, a costly and ineffective campaign that drained ships, funds and goodwill from the Corellan League.
World Starport
Easakhou has a Class A Starport, an excellent quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and other kinds of repair, and construction of both starships and non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
World Languages
- Trokh: The universal language of the modern Aslan monoculture.
- Aslan Languages: Note that some Aslan clans retain obscure or archaic languages for personal use in addition to Trokh.
Urbanization
Aslan architecture tends to the organic and the rounded. They favour artistry over efficiency in the design of their buildings -- every Aslan structure is different. Even in mass-produced housing, residents will strive to make their territory uniquely theirs.
- Since Aslan descend from predators and enjoy open terrain, their buildings often feature both open rooms of great size and a number of concealed rooms, balconies, hidden passageways and hideaways.
Government
This world is governed by the Tlyolriou clan, a vassal of the Syoisuis.
