Built on Ritos (world) for the Army of Ritos internal security and counter insurgency missions. They form the basis for the light infantry formations. Deployed in small companies. These TL–5 vehicles are not envisioned to function as combat vehicles. They are not armed nor armored. main battle tanks, but might end up pressed into that role. Their soft steel chassis can not protect versus modern anti-tank munitions. They require extensive support infrastructure to keep them refueled for sustained operations. They are extremely inexpensive by modern military standards. They are delivered with no special equipment installed. All special gear must be carried by the passengers and crew.

Pearl class Wheeled Utility Vehicle, TL 5
The vehicle has a crew of one driver and can carry seven passengers. The three wheeled suspension is only rated for 3.45tons/m2. This leads to an extremely high ground pressure despite the vehicles overall low mass. Variant models with reinforced suspensions have been recommended. Progress on these designs is uncertain at the moment. Named after their designer, a passive aggressive engineer. She was completely disinterested six which is the gun crew required for the vehicle mounted 12cm low velocity howitzer. The crew consists of the gunner/commander and the rest are loaders who double as drivers, mechanics, radio operators etc. The weapon is mounted on the left side of a smooth black hemispherical turret on the chassis deck. The 5 power radio allows the units to remain in contact with higher echelons which improves coordination of indirect fire missions. The soft steel armor is slab sided and unsloped on the chassis but the turret is moderately sloped by virtue of its hemispherical shape. The armor is rated to stop small arms fire and artillery shell fragments. The vehicle's 16m³ suspension was only rated to 110tons, and the vehicle's mass precludes many bridges, and slows cross country speed to 50% of road speed. The vehicle is hampered by its low endurance and short operational range. Munition carrying tracks and refueling tankers must closely attend these thirsty behemoths. The vehicle is not sealed nor pressurized and has no ability to thwart CBR/NBC threats or cope with any hostile environments.
Chassis and Turret:
- Height: 2m (+1.5m radius hemispherical turret); Width: 4m; Length: 8m.
- Total usable volume: 71.06858m³
- Total mass loaded: 128.3415 metric tons
- Armor: Soft Steel Chassis front, rear and sides 24, belly and deck: 16.
- Armor: Turret front, rear and sides 28.
- Target Size DMs: +2 low, +0 high
- Production Cost: Cr307,894.351
Movement:
- Speed:
- Maximum Road: 50kph / 41cm; Cross Country: 25kph / 20cm.
- Movement effect on fire: move 1/2 or less -4 FFP, no fire EFP; move more than 1/2 no fire
Weapons:
No weapon stabilization.
Dorsal Turret
12cm Low Velocity Howitzer
Rounds mass 40kg and there is onboard storage for 80 rounds which is enough for 20 indirect fire missions. This weapon requires 10.5 turns to set up for indirect fire missions. It has TL–5 direct and indirect fire control systems. The vehicle is NOT stabilized to fire accurately on the move. It has a ROF of 4 for indirect fire missions and has a +3 signature versus spotters. The vehicles are equipped with a complete TL–5 fire direction control center. This allows each vehicle to conduct its own fire missions without the assistance of higher echelons. The radio allows limited communication with forward observers to call in fire missions. It can engage a single target per firing phase in a direct fire role.
