Pearl class Wheeled Utility Vehicle
Built on Ritos (world) for the Army of Ritos internal security and counter insurgency missions. They form the basis for the light infantry formations. Deployed in small companies. These TL–5 vehicles are not envisioned to function as combat vehicles. They are not armed nor armored. Their soft steel chassis can not protect versus modern anti-tank munitions. They require extensive support infrastructure to keep them refueled for sustained operations. They are extremely inexpensive by modern military standards. They are delivered with no special equipment installed. All special gear must be carried by the passengers and crew.

Pearl class Wheeled Utility Vehicle, TL 5[edit]
The vehicle has a crew of one driver and can carry seven passengers. The odd three wheeled suspension is only rated for 3.45tons/m2. This leads to an extremely high ground pressure despite the vehicle's overall low mass. Variant models with reinforced suspensions have been recommended. Progress on these designs is uncertain at the moment. Named after their designer, a passive aggressive engineer. She was completely disinterested in the task assigned to her. Her indifference lead to one of the fastest production runs in history. She produced the plans very quickly and never looked back. Unconcerned with testing or refining the vehicle they were built and delivered as is. The vehicle is not sealed nor pressurized and has no ability to thwart CBR/NBC threats or cope with any hostile environments. They could be made to float and function as amphibious vehicles if they were properly sealed and fitted with an auxiliary water propulsion unit. Their road speed is OK, the endurance and road range is acceptable, but the high ground pressure ruins the cross country performance. They get stuck in the mud easily 2+ and in soft earth and sand 4+. Infantry units deploy as one squad of two fire teams/vehicle.
