Garado
- It is an unclaimed Non-Aligned world located in the Sithula Subsector of Divide Sector.
Astrography and Planetology[edit]
This star system is detailed using the Fringian Variant System Description.
- It forms a part of the Glitterdrift Reach.
System Data[edit]
Garado System[edit]
The primary is an unnamed ordinary orange main sequence star. It has a luminosity of 0.216 Sols, a mass of 0.672 Sols, and a diameter of 978,000 km. (I) a corrosive atmosphere inferno world orbits within the habitable zone. (II) an exotic atmosphere radworld, (III) a sparse stony planetoid belt, (IV) the Garado Main Belt, designated the mainworld, (V) a sparse icy planetoid belt, (VI) a ringed very large gas giant, (VII) an exotic atmosphere bigworld, and (VIII) a trace atmosphere iceworld form the outer system. Many of the worlds retain satellites.
Mainworld Data[edit]
(IV) Garado Main Belt[edit]
(IV) the Garado Main Belt orbits within the outer system and is designated the mainworld. It lies at a mean distance of 1.1 AU from the star and is primarily made up of carbonaceous bodies with diameters of less than 200 km. The inner edge of the belt, with a higher concentration of nickel-iron bodies, is considered to lie at around 0.85 AU from the star and the outer edge of the belt, with a higher concentration of icy bodies, is considered to lie at approximately 1.35 AU. The main body is named Chariot, with a mean orbital distance of 1.24 AU around the primary and an orbital period of 1 year 250 days. It has a long axis of 350 km, a density of 2.46 g/cm³, and a surface gravity of 0.008 G. It retains no atmosphere and has no hydrographics. Mean surface temperature: -101°C in sunlight, -140°C in shadow.
Native Lifeforms[edit]
No world in the Garado system is known to have native life.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
The Garado system has been studied by the Local Astrographical Survey Project, a part of the Astronomy Department of the University of Selasia.
