A Mind is a sophisticated computer technology with very intelligent programming that is near true artificial intelligence level.
- It is expected that minds will achieve true artificial intelligence throughout Charted Space by the TL:19-21 technological epoch barring some kind of civilization-wide catastrophe.
- In a more generic sense, a mind refers to the organic computers within the "heads" of conventional life sophonts.
