The 55th Fleet is a Numbered Imperial fleet stationed in Kamlar Subsector. [1]
Description (Specifications)
This subsector fleet is composed of two oversized squadrons. The idea was to retain a fleet with the same power as a normal subsector fleet which would typically have more squadrons assigned. It has turned out that maintaining these over sized squadrons is extremely taxing on the small local population and their economy. At the founding of the Regency of Deneb the 55th was moved to the Sabine Subsector with headquarters at Marnie's World (Deneb 0514). There is served as the trailing swing fleet for the Regency. [2].
