Modern Era
The second Sch'ikaa Waypoint was constructed in the same location around 5100AD, at the close of the Golden Age. It was a link in the jump bridge between the Sha’a Cluster and the K’shek cluster. It was decommissioned in 5560AD due to its increasingly poor condition and the growing availability of domestically produced jump-2 starships.
A number of sections of the Waypoint were removed and stripped of components in the 5580s. Many of these salvaged parts were incorporated into the Ith-Saa-Ka Waypoint.
