Built for use with the Zhodani Consulate Combined Interstellar Forces and the Zhodani Consulate Army. These TL–14 Grav Tanks are designed to advance against the enemy under heavy fire. The VRF Gauss gun is equipped with point defense fire control, the fusion gun is considered more powerful than standard imperial models. No TAC missiles are usually equipped. The 267 tons of armor requires more power to move, therefore power is split evenly between movement and firepower. It is considered compact and inexpensive by some military analysts. Built on a 10dton hull, the radically sloped frontal and side armor reduces the usable interior volume by 60%. Maintenance requirements exceed what the driver/mechanic can provide alone, additional technical expertise is required to maintain these beasts. No expense was spared to ensure it was an effective design with all available features.

Zhodani Grav Tank, TL 14[edit]

The vehicle has a crew of three (driver/mechanic, gunner and commander). It has thick bonded superdense hull plates and the front and sides of the turret and chassis have radically sloped armor superior to starship hull metal. They are fully capable of Protected Forces operations. It mounts a fusion gun, and a VRF Gauss gun in a fully stabilized rotating turret on the chassis deck. The sensors and communications are considered good with excellent range which permits satellite uplinks while on the move. Aside from slower NOE speed, they are generally faster than Imperial Army designs. Only its endurance limits its ability to raze continents.

Dorsal Turret[edit]

Primary Weapons The Grav Tank mounts a 63 megawatt output, fusion gun, and TL–14 direct fire control. It can engage a single target and is automatically spotted when it fires.

Direct Fire Characteristics: Fusion Gun
Effective Range Long Range Extreme Range
7.52 km (79)7.5cm(63) 15 km (67)5cm(51) 30 km (44)2.5cm(28)

The dorsal turret mounts a co-axial VRF Gauss Gun equipped with TL 14 point defense fire control. It rolls 14 dice versus indirect fire missions.

Direct Fire Characteristics: VRF Gauss Gun
Effective Range Long Range Extreme Range
1.5 km (21)+8 3 km (19)+6 4.5 km (17)+3

The main VRF Gauss Gun has storage for 150,000 rounds, enough to allow 117 fire phases of sustained fire. It can engage 16 targets in 15 seconds and has a +4 signature.
