Yet-shir
A nation on the planet Matinger, influential during the first century of the Third Imperium, of which Matinger wasn’t yet a member.
As of year 0, the Yet-shir government united the Denaar of the western continent, while the planet’s other equatorial continent was balkanized into more than two dozen smaller nations. The Yet-shir was the remnant of a colonial empire, with its seat of power in the port city of Kal-ti-mor. The emperor Wor-ti-yum had reigned over that empire since its inception 220 years prior, but the various colonial states that comprised it were constantly vying for independence. There were many fissures and cracks in the unity of the Yet-shir, and it was considered likely as of year 0 that it would fragment in the next few decades.
