Uungip is a ring of many small worldlets (planetoids AKA an "asteroid belt"), not capable of retaining an atmosphere or water, and nonindustrial in nature.
- These worldlets warrant hazardous environment precautions.
- Life in a vacuum requires great discipline. After all, it only takes one forgotten seal on a vacuum suit to spell death. Those who survive tend to be very methodically-minded and attentive to small detail.
- The worldlets require extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society. Having to import most manufactured and high tech goods drives the price up for these items at this world.
- It is a member of the Third Imperium in the Ameros Subsector of Core Sector in the Domain of Sylea.
- This world has an Imperial Naval Base, capable of handling warships.
Description (Planetology)[edit]
This world is part of the Dureija Cluster.
Stellar Data[edit]
System Data[edit]
The red giant primary of this system is part of 'The Belt of Cleon', a constellation visible on worlds to rimward.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
World Starport (St)[edit]
Uungip has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
- There is an associated Imperial Naval Base, hosting elements of the 69th Fleet.
Linguistic Topography[edit]
The following languages are among the most commonly used within this astrographic region:
- Core Anglic: One of the principal dialects of one of the two official languages of the Third Imperium.
- Vilani: One of the two official languages of the Third Imperium.
