Talk:Trade Map Summary
Notes (2008)[edit]
Please do not edit this page. The contents are automatically generated (or re-generated) by the nroute code each time a sector is added or updated. I will figure out how to make these Allegiance codes appear as links in the wiki data output. Tjoneslo 13:41, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
- Okay, I was just thinking that linking the alliegence codes to the appropriate entries was the next logical step.--Sstefan 18:22, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
- It is a great idea. I'll be working on getting the code to do that automatically this weekend. If you can think of any more stuff I should add to the output of either summary pages (here) or for the sector pages, post away. One thing I was going to do was update the Allegiance Code: Sector page from each of the sector files with the data. If I can get the page to output the links as well it'll make that update go faster too. Tjoneslo 18:39, 10 January 2008 (UTC)

Very interesting. Can you give the cannon sources for your calculations or otherwise explain the basis of your economic analysis? --Matt Stevens 22:51, December 23, 2009 (UTC)
- See Nroute.c. This program written my Anthony Jackson and (slightly) fixed by me generated the results. This code was written from the economic analysis as presented in GURPS Traveller: Far Trader, primarily Jim McLean. If you have specific questions regarding this analysis, or the code generating it, please post them here. Tjoneslo 02:21, December 24, 2009 (UTC)
Notes (2010)[edit]
It looks like the Alliance codes are missing an entry for "St," which I assume is the Wuan Technology Association? Garnfellow 13:48, March 21, 2010 (UTC)
- The nroute.c code omits Allegiances which have fewer than 10 worlds. There are probably a number of "missing" allegiances. Tjoneslo 14:58, March 21, 2010 (UTC)
- That explains it -- with 8 worlds it's close, but not close enough. Garnfellow 23:00, March 21, 2010 (UTC)

I think the Viyard Concourse and the Llaeghskath Interacterate have been merged into one by the bot, because they have the same allegiance code. But, they are in completely different parts of Charted Space. 77topaz (talk) 05:04, 17 August 2014 (EDT)
- Yes, they have been merged. This is one of the reasons why the T5 Second Survey is moving to 4 character allegiance codes. When I do the maps again (I'm waiting for the official Aslan sectors to be dropped), I'll add this to the list of things to manually change. Tjoneslo (talk) 08:18, 17 August 2014 (EDT)
