There are two Ershur's.

Notes (2013)[edit]
I am a little confused about this world. Hub/Ershur is listed in the Rule of Man article as being located at hex 0402 in Masilla. However, the T5 second survey data lists the world at hex 0402 as Kaggushus, capital of Subsector A.
Meanwhile the T5 data lists an "Ershur" at hex 0504, also subsector A. So where was Hub/Ershur really located?
- I'll check GURPS Traveller: Interstellar Wars when I get home tonight. Tjoneslo (talk) 12:46, 18 July 2013 (EDT)
- Well, Interstellar wars covers exactly that, and the "Historical" articles stop at the end of the war with the surrender of the Vilani, and does not cover anything at all about the Rule of Man. This may need a canon conflict resolution. Tjoneslo (talk) 22:42, 18 July 2013 (EDT)
- The original source of the Rule of Man article, Supplement 11 mentions the name (either Hub or Ershur depending on the language) but doesn't give it a location, not even a sector name. So where ever the source that the world is in Massilia sector isn't a canon source. But the T5 SS data is, so that should be the correct world location.
- We also need to update the name of the world to be just "Ershur", with a note in the article that is was also know as "Hub", the vilani translation of the term. Tjoneslo (talk) 17:37, 19 July 2013 (EDT)
- I think I'm getting closer. Alien Module 6, Solomani (Solomani (Alien Module)) has this: "Hiroshi II transferred all governmental functions from both Vland and Dingir to Hub/Ershur, more centrally located in Massilia sector. Hub/Ershur remained the capital of the Rule of Man for the next four hundred years. After the fall of the government, it was renamed Khaggushus, and it is now part of the Third Imperium." I'll keep looking, but I think Hub/Ershur should link to Khaggushus.
