Hyades Location (2025)

• The Core of the Hyades Cluster lies almost exactly in the Center of Subsector A (Hyades Subsector).
• The Star Canopus appears to lie in about Subsector L (Suhayl Subsector - Suhayl (so spelled) is also the Arabic name of the star Canopus).

Pleiades Location (2025)

The Pleiades Cluster and the Hyades Cluster are next to each other visually in the Terran sky, but not in space. The Pleiades lie at three times the distance from Terra as the Hyades. They are in fact already tentatively positioned in Subsector P (Subaru Subsector) of Holowon Sector. Subaru is the Japanese name for the Pleiades.

Articles have been updated. Ahkiweahi' Sector is now identified with Seven Sisters Sector / Pleiades Sector, and Subaru Subsector (a placeholder name) has been moved from Holowon Sector / Subsector P to association with Ahkiweahi' Sector, (precise location TBD - most likely in Gamma Quadrant or Rimward Octant of Delta Quadrant of that Sector). Apparently, there was a prior association of Ahkiweahi' Sector with the Solomani name Seven Sisters Sector, so Subaru Subsector) has been moved accordingly, since it was largely a subsector name-placeholder without associated details anyway.
