The star Sargas (otherwise known as Girtab or Theta Scorpii) is a white "bright giant" star of spectral type F0.

- The Sargas star system lies approximately 92.1pc from Terra, and is located in a Coreward/Coretrailing direction from Terra at bearing 347.1o Galactic Longitude and -06.0o South Galactic Latitude.

Sargas is the primary star of the world Sargas/Ikdalon (Mendan 0839).
