"Hostile vessel coming alongside. Estimate one minute until boarding." You've logged countless hours aboard Empress maraca-class starships, having travelled to numerous ports-of-call. Along the way you've duelled with corsairs, bartered with brokers, and visited a myriad of alien worlds. every journey has been an adventure, each imparting valuable experience to the entire crew. And all that experience will be put to use, as your ship has been volunteered for a special military assignment. Now you'll have your chance to fulfill your obligations to the State. "Enemy ship alongside. Stand-By Boarding Team. Initiate Plan Bravo in five, four, three ..."

The booklet contains, as well as twelve pages of text, eight double pages spreads of thicker card that can be removed from the booklet and used as deck plans for the ship. Much of the text is a short story, Experience, based around the deck plans.
