The system is claimed by Trondelm but has never been developed into a significant asset. Possession serves mainly as a status symbol and to guarantee access to more important regions.

The three million inhabitants for the most part work in industries that support the starport.

Rios is said to have indications of habitation in the past. According to some independent experts the ruins seem to be of Faar origin.
