Description (Character)[edit]

Oekhsos conveyed a strong Charisma which inspired loyalty amongst his viewers. He was manipulated by his manager and a team of Electronics Scientists. The most successful subject in the market was anti-Imperial in nature and became known as the Oekhsos Tirades.

As Leader[edit]

If there was anyone who could be considered a single leader for the Vargr that invaded the Imperium in 1118 and later, it has to be Oekhsos. The fact that he creates favourable responses in individuals makes him a sympathetic, charismatic leader that each individual genuinely feels is worthy of his allegiance and loyalty. In addition, asa recorded presentation, Oekhsos is a remote figure who does not actively interfere in the individual's daily life; each individual Vargr is able to accept and respect Oekhsos as a leader without that leadership interfering with ordinary relationships.

Oekhsos' leadership extends across governmental lines. Governments recognise that he provides no direct competation to their own authority - and so he is no threat to them.

Oekhsos is, in reality, the only kind of leader that the Vargr will accept on a broad scale - a rallying point to which they can respond.

History & Background[edit]

Following the positive market response to the Utovogh Tirades, Knouksarrgh Ong synthesized a musical personality which could trigger the greatest number of responses in its customers. Actually, they synthesized several - one for mature individuals, one for juveniles, one for young adults, etc. - In fact one for each major group within Vargr society. These recordings hit the market in 1110.

The fact that the stars were synthesized was not widely known. For marketing purposes, a mystique was built about each one, with details and background that created the illusion of reality for the viewer.

Oekhsos was the most popular of these personalities.
