Oakhiyye is a vital port for the commercial traffic moving along the Ftahtuak Route, the major trade route that connects Kusyu with the Aslan Hierate's rimward territories.
Oakhiyye is the capital world of the combative Hwriayro clan.
World Starport[edit]
Oakhiyye has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.

A point of interest is the Soirlairao, an enormous domed complex containing a faithful reproduction of the Hwriayroko's palace and garden complex on the lost Hwriayro homeworld of Htahoi, now known as Canaan. The Hwriayro were forced to relinquish their world as part of the Treaty of the Dark Nebula, a loss they have never forgotten -- or forgiven.

Hwriayro clan histories record that when a transplanted t'khearl tree first bloomed in Oakhiyye soil, they knew for certain that their clan would endure.
