Nuveesh does not meet the criteria for any standard classification.
- This world is a "Twilight Zone World", a planet that is tidally-locked to its star. It has a hot side that permanently faces the star, a cold side that permanently faces away, and a narrow twilight zone in-between.
- It is an unclaimed Non-Aligned world located in the Sithula Subsector of Divide Sector.
Astrography and Planetology[edit]
This star system is detailed using the Fringian Variant System Description.
- It forms a part of the Glitterdrift Reach.

System Data[edit]
Nuveesh System[edit]
The primary is an unnamed ordinary red main sequence star. It has a luminosity of 0.0202 Sols, a mass of 0.3942 Sols, and a diameter of 604,000 km. (I-I) Nuveesh, designated the mainworld, (I-II) an exotic atmosphere radworld, (II-I) an exotic atmosphere bigworld, (II-II) a small gas giant, (III) a sparse rocky planetoid belt, (IV) a large gas giant, (V) a ringed large gas giant, (VI-I) a sparse icy planetoid belt, and (VI-II) a trace atmosphere iceworld form the outer system. Many of the worlds retain satellites.
Mainworld Data[edit]
(I-I) Nuveesh[edit]
(I-I) Nuveesh is designated the mainworld. It orbits the primary at a mean distance of 0.09 AU (13.5 million km), within the narrow H+ region of the outer system. It has an orbital period of 15 days 17 hours: it is tidally locked to the primary. The axial tilt is 3 degrees. Nuveesh has a diameter of 10,438 km, a density of 4.85 g/cm³, and a surface gravity of 0.72 G. Tidal stresses generated by the gravitational pull of the primary cause frequent geological activity. Its atmosphere is rated as Standard, with a mean surface pressure of 0.89 bar and a composition of 77% nitrogen (N2), 22% oxygen (O2), and 1% argon (Ar), water vapor (H2O), carbon dioxide (CO2), neon (Ne) and other trace gases. Approximately 44% of the surface is covered in seas of liquid water: average tidal ranges exceed 0.6m. Mean surface temperature: 12°C. The climate is rated as Temperate-Cool and is static, with no seasonal changes during the local year. The atmosphere is active and moderate weather systems driven by the star and the seas work across the globe.
Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]
Total surface area: 342 million km², Land surface area: 192 million km², Water surface area: 150 million km².
- Nuveesh is a Twilight Zone World.
- The world experiences libration, which causes the star to move in the sky and periodically rise and fall above the horizon in the Twilight region.
Native Lifeforms[edit]
Nuveesh System[edit]
Nuveesh, the mainworld, (considered to lie within the H+ region of the outer system) has extensive, abundant native life, with complex organisms inhabiting every ecological niche. Their metabolic functions drive the process of atmospheric renewal.
No other world in the system is known to have native life.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
The Nuveesh system has been studied by the Local Astrographical Survey Project, a part of the Astronomy Department of the University of Selasia.
