The star Megrez (otherwise known as Delta Ursae Majoris) is blue-white main sequence star of spectral type A2.5, and is an outlying member of the Ursa Major moving group.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
Megrez has a debris disk of circumstellar matter at an orbital radius of ~16AU from the star.
- The Megrez star system is approximately 24.7pc from Terra, and is located in a Rimspinward/Spinward direction from Terra at bearing 139.6o Galactic Longitude and +52.4o North Galactic Latitude.
