Mainworld Topography and Geography[edit]

Regions include the Rab'arlaa Outback, historically home to a small population of nomadic Chirpers.

History and Background[edit]

Line's End has been continually inhabited since the early exploratory years of the Ziru Sirka, but the population has waxed and waned with the general economic fortunes of the region. As of 1105 the population numbers around 5,000 and a third of these are scout personnel of the Regional IISS Administration headquarters.

Point of Interest: Scout Base[edit]

The scout base houses not only administrative functions but on of the most modern and advanced hospitals for the almost exclusive use of scouts who have been injured or become ill in the line of duty. There are also extensive recreational and vacation facilities, enjoyed by many scouts and their families taking holidays on this pleasant backwater.

World Starport (St)[edit]

Line's End has a Class D Starport, a poor quality installation which has few of the expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.

Demographics[edit]

Records from the Second Imperium show that this world was inhabited by a colony of Chirpers.
