Khikaeg is a rich and agricultural production world with a shirt-sleeve atmosphere and a balance of available surface water. The system supports a population in the millions of sophonts, lacking the industrial base to be completely self-supporting. This world contains an archaeological site with artifacts suspected to be from the now-vanished Ancients. It is a member of Third Imperium in the Shallows Subsector of Dagudashaag Sector and in the Domain of Vland. Khikaeg, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial knight and the fiefdom of a baron. Both are members of the Imperial Nobility charged with overseeing the world. This world contains an Imperial Scout Base, capable of handling Scout Service starships and personnel. During the Long Night this world was named Shagmani.

History and background
Khikaeg is the home to Carlsbrew Distillers — voted number 1 in Dagudashaag Sector by the Imperial Brewer's Guild for the last 20 years. The Khikaeg population is primarily composed of Carlsbrew employees and independent farmers who cultivate a wide range of mutated hops, malts and barley's used in brewing some of the many alcoholic beverages sold by the Company. Carlsbrew also owns several other Breweries throughout Dagudashaag and release their produce under several trade names.
Khikaegan's are, for the most part, members of the Universal Church of God though they interpret their religion more liberally than is generally found elsewhere in the sector, a fact that has caused the local Church hierarchy a great deal of concern.
