The Imperial University of Taproban is an Educational Institution that provides Undergraduate Education to the Million Subsector. It is based on Taproban and sponsored by the Marquis of Million.

History

General

The Imperial University of Taproban has a proud history, both as an educational institution and as a recruiting ground for the local defence forces under the Marquis of Million in the fight against Vargr incursions.

Founding

The university was founded relatively early in the Imperial settlement of the Million Subsector (402) from the, less formal, local Educational institutes that had formed across that subsector for various reasons. Bringing these diverse places of learning together under a single roof, on Taproban, helped cement that world as the seat of Imperial power in the area - drawing the intelligentsia of the region to one Alma-Mata under the sponsorship of the Marquis.

Closure

The university closed in 1136 as part of the abandonment.
