The Chairman of the Imperial Bank is the administrative head of the Imperial Bank.

History & Background (Dossier)

The Imperial Bank is NOT a bank at which individuals hold accounts. Even many LICs are too small for the bank to be interested in them as clients. Typically, to have an account at the Imperial Bank you must be a body with a population/workforce/membership of 1,000,000,000 Sophonts or more. Imperial Counties, Duchies and Archduchies, as Imperial offices of state, will have accounts at the bank to enable the finances of these offices to be overseen. The Imperial Bureaucracy's many departments are also clients.

The Imperial Bank has branches on High Population worlds, at Sector Capitals and its headquarters is on Capital. It acts as the interstellar Currency Clearing Bank.
