Subsector O of Ftaoiyekyu Sector, on the shore of the Great Rift.

Description

On the spinward rim of the Aslan Hierate and bordering the Great Rift, this region is well-developed in its rimward-trailing corner, mostly because local Aslan must channel their efforts into improving the local systems in the absence of new territories to expand into.

It is possibly due to this same social phenomenon that the subsector contains one of the highest-tech systems in Aslan space, the anomalous Eatrekter (Ftaoiyekyu 2437). However, it is instead often assumed -- by those few who know of this world -- that the controlling clan has discovered a cache of technology left by another, likely vanished, race.

One system remains outside the Hierate border, because it has no useful planets.
